My process helps you in many ways - it identifies what makes you wonderful and unique, and helps you articulate that, both on your personal profile and in the interview itself. We create together your STAR stories, and pressure-test these. These are the stories that evidence your key skills, competencies and achievements. We run practice interviews, and if you have a specific interview up-coming, we make the prep specific to that interview.
It all starts with probing questions to identify your competencies and the stories that bring them to life. We develop a number of STAR (situation, task, analysis, result) stories, that can be used to answer the vast majority of competency questions that could be asked of you. We identify what was the real skill you used in that achievement, and create the true picture of you - this is the “Unique, Wonderful You” and allows you to be crystal clear when the interviewer asks any question aimed at getting a summary from you on how you see yourself
Peter Kay is brilliantly funny. He's a natural. But he still needs to practise, rehearse and hone his performance. How many candidates don't get the first job that they go for because their interview skills are rusty? Do they miss out on their perfect job? So, practice is key - weconduct a practice interview, recorded, and this allows for both immediate feedback and for us then both to review the interview, and make any necessary adjustments. We then conduct a 2nd interview to ensure you are ready! We focus on language and navigating the delicate balance between shouting your praises and British understatement - the key here is the credibility that your preparation will give you

We work through the content of the interview, if there are any specifics that you need to cover off - you share the job / placement advert and any background on company that I need to know

I have 30 years experience in senior sales roles, and have interviewed extensively in that time. I also hold a CMI Coaching qualification and run outdoor coaching Alfrescocoach.co.uk, combining a structured coaching conversation with the power of nature.
